Front page News News MDI Academy 2022 kicked off with an Innovation Bootcamp MDI Academy 2022 kicked off with an Innovation Bootcamp 6.4.2022 MDI Academy 2022 kicked off in early February with an Innovation Bootcamp co-organised by MDI, Crazy Town and Urban Mill. MDI Academy is an education package for regional developers. It consists of four different modules that highlight various data-based approaches, examples and good practices from different regional levels in the context of addressing current topics. The 24h bootcamp focused on entrepreneurial communities and new ways of working. Next the students will take a deep dive into data-led development and tools and be introduced to local examples of vitality and civic participation in the Southern Ostrobothnia region. At the end of October there will be a graduation ceremony. The aim of the MDI Academy is to network developers and civil servants working within regional development. Multi-functional development of station areas News 28.11.2023 In the early autumn period, MDI and FCG worked on the development of the Asemanseutu project which is part of the project package – Vitality for Urban Regions. The work undertaken clarified the basic models for the multi-functional development of station areas, as well as providing recommendations for their development and financing.
