Front page News News Ten ways to strengthen Kouvola’s vitality Ten ways to strengthen Kouvola’s vitality 22.6.2016 MDI carried out a strategy sparring process for the city of Kouvola. The aim was to find ways to strengthen the city’s vitality. The work begun in December 2015 with a workshop. Peer-development method was used when Kouvola’s group visited Seinäjoki and met the city’s management group. The results of the work were presented at the final seminar in April. The thoughts of vitality were discussed in small-groups and council seminar was held in April. The findings of the project were summarized in the final report (in Finnish). Multi-functional development of station areas News 28.11.2023 In the early autumn period, MDI and FCG worked on the development of the Asemanseutu project which is part of the project package – Vitality for Urban Regions. The work undertaken clarified the basic models for the multi-functional development of station areas, as well as providing recommendations for their development and financing.
