Front page News News Information package for the City of Pieksämäki Information package for the City of Pieksämäki 14.5.2016 MDI has during the spring built an extensive and thorough database of regional development. The City of Pieksämäki had the honour to be the first customer, to whom the first tailored data package was done, in order to support information driven development of the city. Statistical review themes were related to population, employment, the economic structures and companies. Statistical examination was carried out at the level of the city as well as by postal code areas. Development was analysed from 1995, with particular emphasis on development since 2008 to the most recent statistical data. Information was also compared to cities with same profile.
