Eveliina Kuusisto started as a trainee

At the beginning of March, Eveliina Kuusisto (B.Soc.Sc.) joined the MDI team when she started as a trainee. Eveliina is a Master’s student in International Relations, specialised in environmental, climate and energy issues and sustainable development. She has also studied regional policy, political science and leadership communication. Eveliina is at her strongest in the world of qualitative analysis.

Eveliina Kuusisto expects to experience the everyday life of the consulting firm.

At first Eveliina will be working with the study on the effects of the Covid-19 crisis on the youth sector. Other work tasks will be defined in the coming weeks.

During her internship, Eveliina expects to experience the everyday life of the consulting firm and the various stages of the research work. For example, she wants to learn from colleagues, how best to make recommendations for clients based on the results of a study.

“MDI has an extremely wide range of expertise and it’s exciting to get a closer look at what’s going on at the same time, says Eveliina after her first week of training.

Eveliina hopes to learn how to use the skills she has gained during her studies. She believes that during the internship she will develop into the role of a specialist as well as learning other working life skills.
