I am, by background, a regional scientist and an experienced professional in geospatial information and information services. My main work is as an information services specialist at the city of Pori. I have almost thirty years of experience of geospatial information systems and utilising them in knowledge-based management and in support of decision-making. I know that analysed maps visually tell more than a thousand words. In addition to my main work I am also doing my doctoral thesis in the Doctoral Programme in Business and Technology Management at the Pori unit of the University of Tampere.
