Matti Vatilo

I am an expert familiar with land use planning, urban development and municipal and housing issues. In the Ministry of the Environment I lead a unit responsible for land use planning, land policy and regional planning. I have developed the partnership between municipalities and the state related to land use, housing and transportation. As chairman of the board of A-Kruu­nu Ltd, a spe­cial ‘as­sign­ment com­pa­ny’ ow­ned by the Sta­te, I am well aware of the twists and turns of housing policy. I am also interested in cultural environment issues and the sustainable development of the built environment.
