Front page News News MDI Defines Lahti Region’s Competitiveness MDI Defines Lahti Region’s Competitiveness 9.6.2015 MDI will analyze Lahti Region’s competitiveness. On the one hand, the work will be based on a statistical analysis which will mostly be conducted by Dr. Timo Aro, one of Finland’s most recognized analysts and MDI’s new Regional Policy Advisor. On the other hand, Lahti Region’s strategies for tackling structural changes will be analyzed with a more qualitative approach. The findings will be benchmarked against the urban regions of Jyväskylä, Kuopio, Joensuu, Pori, Helsinki, Hämeenlinna and Tampere. MDI leads the co-creative process of developing, piloting and sharing practices for wellbeing in Sustainable Cities News 12.10.2022 The challenge bundle work is the cross-cutting co-development of the “Sustainable City” programme, co-ordinated by the Ministry of the Environment, with the aim of producing and sharing information, knowledge and solutions to the challenges linking cities’ management and practice in the area of leading work towards sustainability. The work produces concrete development measures, new ways of doing things and peer learning.
