Front page News News Travel Sector in Oulu Region Sketched Strategic Choices on First Snow Travel Sector in Oulu Region Sketched Strategic Choices on First Snow 9.10.2014 MDI implemented a strategy workshop for the developers of travel sector of Oulu region in Hotel Iso-Syöte in Pudasjärvi. New direction for the development of travel sector was searched in the middle of first snow with 50 enthusiastic participants. The discussions reflected great satisfaction to the present strategy with special thanks given to the activities supporting the development of international tourism in the region. The future strategy is likely to follow the same track further building on the strengthening of co-operation between the stakeholders in the travel sector. The Regional Council of Oulu Region is responsible for the strategy update and process ought to be completed next spring as this snow is melting.
