The Farm Energy Programme is a voluntary agreement for improving energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources in Finnish farms. Farms were entitled to join the programme until the end of 2014. MDI will evaluate the activities in the programme during the years 2010–2014. The main purpose of the evaluation work is to gather a comprehensive understanding of the outputs and functionality of the programme as well as to draft development proposals for the future, as the National Energy Efficiency Agreements is currently under renewal. The evaluation is commissioned by Motiva Ltd and the work is due in October 2015.
