Feasibility Study by MDI 16.7.2014 Skiing and other sports in nature, including adventure sports, are gaining increasing interest in Southern Finland. The Lahti Region, an hour northeast from Helsinki region, has internationally profiled as sports region – especially winter sports. MDI will conduct a light feasibility study on building a skiing, adventure and nature sports centre to Lahti Region. In skiing, there is a need for international competence centre as well as a place for active hobbyist. Adventure and nature sports would bring along year round activities.
