Front page News News Sparring for innovation activities in the rural areas Sparring for innovation activities in the rural areas 12.10.2012 MDI provides sparring for the innovation activities and environments in the rural areas during the final quarter of 2012. The first part deals with the Kaustinen region and the Lake District of South Ostrobotnia and MDI helps to redefine the existing strengths and to brush up the development spearheads in the regions. The second part focuses on designing a HUB concept for the rural areas. The main objective is to create a distinctive HUB concept for little towns that would also be interesting from the national innovation policy perspective. MDI leads the co-creative process of developing, piloting and sharing practices for wellbeing in Sustainable Cities News 12.10.2022 The challenge bundle work is the cross-cutting co-development of the “Sustainable City” programme, co-ordinated by the Ministry of the Environment, with the aim of producing and sharing information, knowledge and solutions to the challenges linking cities’ management and practice in the area of leading work towards sustainability. The work produces concrete development measures, new ways of doing things and peer learning.
