Front page News News MDI explores the organization of Päijät-Häme’s business development MDI explores the organization of Päijät-Häme’s business development 22.12.2017 During the spring, MDI will commission an investigation about the organization and funding of business development after 2018 in Päijät-Häme region. The survey looks at the business development, tourism promotion and regional marketing and it takes into account the impact of the LUT / LAMK university reform and the regional reform since the beginning of 2020. The study analyzes the benefits and weaknesses of various organizational alternatives and finally, based on the analysis, makes a concrete and feasible development proposal on the organization of the activities from the beginning of 2019. The work includes vitality analysis, interviews, a ship seminar, a survey, municipal roundtable and stakeholder meetings, and a review and analysis of the reform of the regional and growth services reform. The work undertaken clarified the basic models for the multi-functional development of station areas, as well as providing recommendations for their development and financing.
