Front page News News MDI has been busy studying counties’ role in RDI activities of social and health services MDI has been busy studying counties’ role in RDI activities of social and health services 25.9.2018 The health, social services and regional government reform will establish the new counties in 2021. In the reform the responsibility to organize both social and health services and research, development and innovation activities (RDI) will be part of the new counties’ tasks. Together with 4Front Oy and NHG (Nordic Healthcare Group) MDI is carrying out a study about the current state of social and health service related RDI activities in Finland. The aim of the study is to support the upcoming reform. The mid-term report of the process was released today. Later on the counties’ views, suggestions and feedback will be discussed in two workshops during fall 2018 and spring 2019. The final report will be released in the fall 2019. Multi-functional development of station areas News 28.11.2023 In the early autumn period, MDI and FCG worked on the development of the Asemanseutu project which is part of the project package – Vitality for Urban Regions. The work undertaken clarified the basic models for the multi-functional development of station areas, as well as providing recommendations for their development and financing.
