MDI provided sparring for these garrison areas due for closure over two days in October 2013. The theme of the session was the identification of regions’ strengths and the creation of new jobs. In November 2012, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment granted EUR 2 million in support for sudden structural changes to those garrison areas due for closure in 2013 and 2014.
