The Future of the Larger Metropolitan Area

MDI was responsible for organizing six future-oriented workshops in the larger metropolitan region of Helsinki-Uusimaa, Päijät-Häme and Häme regions. MDI was appointed by the Uusimaa Regional Council. The main objectives for the workshop process included describing the common future of the three regions, identifying common development topics and themes, producing insights on joint possibilities and also opening paths for closer co-operation in the future between the regions. The work utilized scorecards that were further worked on in each workshop. Scorecards are also provided in the blog www.etelasuomentulevaisuus.net (in Finnish).
