Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences wanted to attach a story to its application for authorisation from the Ministry of Education and Culture. The project was about telling a story about the meaning of the University of Applied Sciences to the development of Seinäjoki Region and the whole of the Southern Ostrobothnia Region. Before the camp MDI collected newspaper stories, pictures, drawings, historical depictions, feelings and athmosphere descriptions about the region and the University of Applied Sciences. The camp provided an intensive 24h story camp experience in June 2013. The participants collected a map for reminiscencing and a description of the development processes and impacts of the University of Applied Sciences. Apart from the historical analysis the story camp also included a future-oriented session where the camper evaluated the impact of the University of Applied Sciences both at the present time and ten years into the future.
