Partnership Monitor

Case Wärtsilä Plc.

MDI carried out a development programme for Wärtsilä Plc focusing on the supplier network. 14 key suppliers of Wärtsilä Ship Power took part in the programme.

The objective for the programme was to develop individual supplier relations at Ship Power and to strengthen the operation modes in the whole partnership network. All relations were measured and analyzed with the Partnership Monitor -method. Moreover, three development seminars were organised on the basis of the analysis and observations. Relationship-specific development strategies were drawn up based on the seminars. Finally, partnership and action portfolios were handed over to Ship Power for the tools of continuous network development.
