Front page News News MDI to guide strategy process in Kokkola MDI to guide strategy process in Kokkola 27.2.2017 The city of Kokkola is renewing its strategy and simultaneously preparing for celebrating city’s 400th anniversary in 2020. City of Kokkola has appointed MDI to support the city in the strategy process. MDI’s role is to desing and carry out the strategy provcess, make a proposal for the structure of strategy document and sum up the process as a final report. MDI is also facilitating workshops during the process. The strategy process will be carried out by actively participating city’s personnel, politicians, inhabitants and different stakeholders in the process. The strategy will be ready in September 2017. The work undertaken clarified the basic models for the multi-functional development of station areas, as well as providing recommendations for their development and financing.
