Front page News News Future Information and Knowledge Management in Counties Future Information and Knowledge Management in Counties 12.2.2018 MDI takes part in a research project aiming at defining objectives for information and knowledge management in counties as well as evaluating the current status and plans in the preparation of reform. The project is funded as a part of Government’s Analysis, Assessment, and Research Activities. Information and knowledge management is divided into three categories in the research project: content objectives (what kind of information is collected?), technological objectives (how is information collected, transferred and combined?), and management objectives (how is collected and processed information utilized in decision-making?). Project kicked off in February 2018, and results are due in May 2019. NHG Consulting Ltd is leading the project, and alongside MDI, also University of Helsinki and Tampere University of Technology are taking part in the research consortium. Multi-functional development of station areas News 28.11.2023 In the early autumn period, MDI and FCG worked on the development of the Asemanseutu project which is part of the project package – Vitality for Urban Regions. The work undertaken clarified the basic models for the multi-functional development of station areas, as well as providing recommendations for their development and financing.
