Front page News News MDI to sketch governance model to the Rail Baltica growth strategy MDI to sketch governance model to the Rail Baltica growth strategy 4.2.2013 The development zones are gaining more and more attention both in Finland and internationally. MDI takes part in designing the growth strategy for Rail Baltica, which is a common initiative by Helsinki and Berlin and all the biggest cities in between. The initiative focuses on studying the possibilities of building railway connection (Helsinki-Berlin) and growth for the whole region. MDI acts as a subcontractor to KPMG giving ideas on what kind of governance model there should be in implementing the growth strategy. The work is ordered by the city of Helsinki.
