MDI takes part in designing the growth strategy for Rail Baltica, which is a common initiative by Helsinki and Berlin and all the biggest cities in between. The initiative focuses on studying the possibilities of building railway connection (Helsinki-Berlin) and growth for the whole region. MDI acts as a subcontractor to KPMG giving ideas on what kind of governance model there should be in implementing the growth strategy. The work is ordered by the city of Helsinki.
