Front page News News Impact of Joensuu Regional Development Company analysed by MDI Impact of Joensuu Regional Development Company analysed by MDI 27.11.2013 The Joensuu region in eastern Finland has developed, according to major regional development indicators, rather well in 21st century, despite of structural changes both in private and public sector. The capability of reacting quickly to challenges has been acknowledged. MDI will analyse the impact of Joensuu Regional Development Company JOSEK Ltd. to regional development in the past decade. Information is gathered in numerous ways, and also local “jury” is gathered to evaluate the impact. Work will be finalised in spring 2014.
